Cinco de Mayo 2012

The day I've been looking forward to my whole life finally came! Cinco de Mayo 2012 I married my best friend Josh Peterson in the Denver LDS temple for time and all eternity! We were surrounded by family and friends and we certainly felt their love and support for us. It was an incredible day that seemed to just be PERFECT. I kept waiting for something to go wrong (because I was told that something always does and I wanted to be prepared) but nothing ever did. I didn't even wake up with that giant pimple that I swore was going to magically appear that morning. It was warm and overcast, which was great for pictures, with no rain! We didn't forget anything important, our car didn't break down, we didn't get lost, the photographer was there on time, nothing broke, no one got sick and it was just a perfect day. I cannot express how grateful I am to those who helped out with making everything go so smoothly and made this wedding possible.

But my main thanks goes to my amazing mom. She did it all. The decorations, she organized and bought the food, the housed our family, helped with picture taking, made my cakes, ran countless hours of errands, she tried on dresses, helped with shoe shopping, was there to set up and take down and so many other things that went into this stressful, crazy amazing day that changed my life forever. Thank you mom. You are truly incredible!! I know you still haven't completely recovered from the hectic event but know that I am grateful for you every day for everything that you do for me. And on the bright side, you've married off all of your girls to wonderful men and you don't have to worry about another wedding (that involves one of your children at least) ;)

There is just so much that I could say about the events of the past couple weeks but I just can't say it all! My wonderful sister Alyssa took bridal/groomal pictures for me and Josh a few days before the wedding. We were so grateful for all the time that she took in doing this for us! She did an amazing job! It was another beautiful day full of clouds for better picture taking. It was a family affair! My mom, dad, Alyssa and Chelsea were there and I had a lot of fun. I was also so grateful for Chels and all that she did for me for the wedding. She was the makeup artist and hair stylist! She made me look beautiful! Chels definitely has great talent and I am so grateful that she could share those talents with me on my special day.

I thought I would share with you some of the pictures that were taken on that day. There are some more that I don't have, so I will share those whenever I get them.

I like this picture because he was actually leaning in to tell me he loves me :)

This is definitely one of my favorites! I love artsy pictures!

OH he is dang handsome!

This one was just silly. Sleeping beauty?
