the fourth festivities

This Fourth of July did not have much planning ahead, but we ended up having a great weekend! We started it off with friends enjoying Lamar's donuts and then going to the Fort Collins parade. Brindisi and I both found four leaf clovers which we felt was quite awesome!

These two are the cutest!

Sleeping through the parade

My parents made an impromptu drive up to see us and we went out to lunch and enjoyed a fun game of adult mini golf! It is in between putt putt golf and actual golf. There are two over sized golf clubs that you use and you hit a small tennis ball through a 9 hole course. It was a ton of fun and requires a little bit of golf skill. Since I have never played real golf it made for quite the game, although I did have a little bit of beginners luck :) It was a ton of fun and apparently it is the only course like it in the US!

I love her concentrating face!

This was an epic fail of a hit. Bounced right off that rock :)

Still sleeping through all the fun ;)

I just love this guy!

I love this guy too :)

This was my first hit of my second hole! ALMOST a hole in one! Best shot of the game :)

Saturday we played some bocce ball and lets just say my parents kicked our butts! Josh and I were really off of our game. But we had a ton of fun. Skyler slept through almost all of our fun and festivities but she did get to spend lots of time snuggling Ama and Papi, which is probably her favorite pass time. It was a great weekend!
